Thanks, Becc@! My 15 year old just left with her bestie who just got her license this morning. I don't know what is more scary- my kid learning to drive, or her going out with her friends who just learned. I just pray about it and give her 100 rules about seat belts and texting and not going anywhere outside of town, and to help her friends pay attention. Oh my goodness- the time has just flown by. I can't believe how fast it goes- especially once we have children- It's like double time. Hope your weekend is wonderful, too. 💕

I don’t think teens can have a non adult passenger here until they’re 18. I like that rule.

Oh, DP, I feel for you. I say that letting your kids grown up and letting go is the hardest thing I ever had to do. I never knew if I was saying too much, saying the wrong thing, not saying enough. As long as you have their best interest in mind, you can't go wrong. My mother always used to say that when I was growing up and she would tell me stuff, even though I acted like I wasn't listening, she knew that when I would be in the exact situation she had warned me about or when I was alone trying to make an important decision, I would remember her advice. You are an awesome mother, but more importantly, you are a diligent and wise mother, who's daughters can rely on for guidance and support as they grown into the independent women they are meant to be.

We are beyond blessed in that so far, both our kids are making good decisions and are smart and stay out of trouble. But it is still scary! Yes- Katsolo- I like that rule, too. I think you can't have more than one friend until a certain age but I am unsure what that age is. Thank you, Becc@ - for thinking I am a good mom. I wish I always thought so!
