I averaged just over 1700 calories a day last week. No eating out but I did have some takeout leftovers in the fridge I ate a couple of days for lunch. And Hubby & I had wine yesterday afternoon in town. Busy afternoons kept me from eating more than a bowl (2 cups) of popcorn as a snack late afternoon (no lunch). That has me starting out the week just under goal @ 143.8

I see where sometimes some people don't want to weigh themselves after an indulgent weekend or even meal. I'm the exact opposite. I always like knowing what I'm dealing with. And usually it's no more than a lb. or 2 anyway.

Sunday I convinced Hubby he wanted to join me in town for the Arts & Wine Festival. It's the first one since all of the festivals were canceled for Covid. It was so nice to see our town busy. It wasn't super crowded so we enjoyed browsing thru the booths. We found a new spot on an upstairs porch overlooking the square to have a glass of wine & listen to some music.

I spent the afternoon in the gardens weeding....a never ending job around here. I planted more annuals last week...used a Mother's Day giftcard to buy plants. I still need to get some basil and tomato plants...maybe a cucumber plant. I'm planning to plant them in pots I can move into the sun if needed. I planted caladium bulbs and annuals in my former veggie garden. It doesn't get enough sun anymore.

BarBQ'd chicken legs & potato salad for dinner. It's ready & calling my name ☺
