A couple of days back to normal & I see results 😀

Although I ate a little more over the weekend I will say it wasn't too extreme. Even counting in a few gummies, a couple of hands full of popcorn & the 2 oreos on Friday night. If there were excess calories consumed a lot was adult beverages Friday & Saturday night.

The whole weekend was fun. We all gathered in my nieces' suite after dinner on Friday & gabbed into the night. Saturday we joined for breakfast then went to a nearby town to shop & have lunch. Cartersville has a neat downtown. We didn't have enough time to really do it justice, so have plans to return sometime soon. We all went back to the hotel to get ready for the wedding. The ceremony was lovely. After official family photos we joined the rest of the guests for cocktails & appetizers. Then a sit down dinner, all the customary wedding festivities & dancing. I know I burned a few calories dancing 👣🎵🎶😁

Sunday we had breakfast & drove back to our house. We had a lunch of leftovers from the weekend then chilled for the afternoon. My daughter & granddaughter had a nap. We went into town for Mother's Day dinner then came home & watched American Idol.

Yesterday the girls flew home & Hubby & I have been getting back to our normal routine. Even though I enjoyed letting lose & eating what I wanted, I was happy to get back to my usual WOE. I was actually so full Saturday afternoon when we stopped for lunch I had a hard time deciding what to eat. I decided to eat a slice of the 2 pizzas the group ordered. Some had a salad & some drinks as well but I was satisfied with my glass of water & pizza.

I worked outside this afternoon pulling weeds in the gardens. Hubby & I got a walk in yesterday & today.

The girls are planning our beach trip for the end of the Summer....a week in Florida.👙🌴🍹⛱

We're also planning a day at my brother in law's favorite golf course....on his birthday in June....to play a round of golf & spread his ashes. He was an avid golfer...so this seems an appropriate way to send him off.
