Right at goal this morning, so I'm feeling like I navigated eating well over the weekend. I had resteraunt meals, a light lunch & a cupcake at the shower, chicken nuggets @ Chick-fil-A at the Mallika, wings to go with fries & salad & frozen yogurt for lunch.
Even though eating out can be calorie filled....it can be managed.

It didn't hurt I did a lot of walking. We hit multiple shopping venues on both Friday & Saturday afternoon. First a favorite antique/ gift store that is quite large, a consignment shop and 4 shopping malls. I found a dress for my niece's wedding. It's crazy how sizes vary in women's clothes. I tried on size 8 thru 12. I did try a couple of dresses in a 14 but they were definitely too big. It was interesting that I discovered my sister & I are almost the same size....she is about 3 1/2 inches taller and slightly smaller thru the waist. I don't know what she weighs but she did tell me she's been watching what she eats & is about 2 lbs. from goal. We tried some of the same dresses & I compared how they fit her to how they fit me. I've always been busty but slimmer thru the hips. It makes finding dresses to fit difficult. I did find one that was knee length & quite fitted that was very flattering. It cost a little more & was very dressy & I wasn't sure I wanted to invest that much in a dress I may not wear again. The one I bought was long in a Springy print & the top shows off my shoulders. And it was on sale 😊 That's good cause I have to have it shortened & buy proper undergarments.

I planted most of the bag of caladium bulbs today. Pulled some weeds & sprayed the rest of some Grass B Gone in the front gardens. I also made up a batch of hummingbird feed ,filled & hung all the feeders. My neighbor said she had been seeing them at her feeders so I expect they'll be back at our house soon, too.

Shrimp for dinner....time to feed the dogs...then make dinner for us.
