Started smoking again last week Thursday after having ended up on a 126.7kg...AGAIN... With my new job I was hungry constantly... Like stomach aching hungry... Now I've lost 10kg in 1 week and I hardly eat at work... No cravings or hungry feelings.

Has anyone else done something like this?
116.7 kg Lost so far: 11.2 kg.    Still to go: 16.7 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

A lot of fluid retention could be the reason for the weight swaying so drastically - 10kg in one week seems near insane 😱 well done though... But no can't say I have done it that way

Replacing one bad with another is never a good idea... you should of started chewing maybe gum instead? Get nicotine gum and stop smoking. All that weight is water weight. The goal is to be healthy. Please take care of yourself.

I've started using a meal replacement shake to replace one of my meals per day. And only that simple change kick-started my weightloss again. I thought I would be hungry after, but totally not!

Yes. Same thing here. Stopped for 4 years and picked it up again to loose weight.... Oh I feel so stupid and now I am struggling to quit. And actually picked up more weight from stress eating. I am the heaviest I have ever been and had to buy bigger pants today. The biggest size I have ever worn, 14.....

yes ... and it worked!! lost 5/6 kg 🤘 Just by replacing food with cigarettes. But the nicotine made the migraines SO MUCH WORSE 😪 now that I'm not 25 anymore. Unfunctoinably worse. Had to quit ... and picked up 8 kg Not recommended for weight loss 😊 I also have a stressful job and for a long time, I self soothed with food. ( Still do when hormones kick in each month) But I did IF for a while and fell in love with Rooibos/Cammomile and a bit of honey as a coping mechanism. Sure it's not as easy as going out for a smoke and it took some getting used too, but it did the trick for me. So idiotically simple, but for me - effective. Also healthy crunchy snacks made a difference for me ... popcorn, pre-packed hand size packets of nuts (cause self control man) carrots, cucumbers, provita with little bit peanutbutter. And packing just the right amount of food to work, while leaving my wallet at home. Jeeze... got a bit chatty there. Only wanted to say, yes ... done that. Turned out not one of my better ideas. Good luck 😊

Trashmitten gave a lot of good ideas. Smoking just makes you more likely to get high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes. And if you already have those diseases and smoking, it’s a deadly combination. Better to form good habits now. Other wise you just going to gain weight again when you decide to quit smoking later. There is No amount of money in the world, that can get you back your health. #nopricetagonhealth

@Fatgirlskim1982 has hit the nail on the head and 100% agree when you stop the nicotine your appetite will return and the weight you lost will bounce back. Make a list of all the unhealthy and annoying aspects of 🚬 and then ask yourself if it's really worth it. There are loads of support groups on the internet and people going through the same thing who can encourage you and support you emotionally . Nicotine is actually a very insidious addictive drug. They put some hectic chemicals in there that lights up your brain like a pinball machine. Don't worry many if us are fighting some demon or another. Get angry with the manufacturers and get even. Say NOPE every day. Not one puff ever. Good luck xx
