Progress Report:

Weight loss is not linear. No matter how much effort you put in, every day will not produce a drop. The weight loss in the pictured graph is from November until now.

However, with strength training as a part of the strategy, weight loss does not mean strength loss. I'm still killing it at the gym!

I'm getting stronger and getting leaner - in fact, my measurements are slightly up while fat is visibly declining (muscles are growing)!

I love numbers. It's so fascinating to me to watch fluctuations even under otherwise identical conditions (yknow, insofar as life is ever controlled). I've run the same experiment several times now and can confirm, a night of only heavy drinking *definitely* produces a drop in the morning, and an abrupt switch to a high fiber, plant-based diet *definitely* produces a gain. I'm thinking of starting a YouTube channel based entirely on this concept. 😎

Numbers are fun and I'm glad this isn't an ultrasound of your food baby.

What is your height and age? Curious because 2350 kcal per day for fat loss seems like a lot. I am 6 ft tall 34yo and i can lose weight only if eating no more than 1700 average. I wish I could enjoy 2350!!!

Muscle mass also plays a role in the CO part of the CICO balance, as it's far more metabolically active than the other things that contribute to overall body weight (being honest - I'm assuming it's more metabolically active than bone, but I don't know this to be true). All other things being equal (age/height/gender/etc), someone with a higher muscle % has a higher basal metabolic rate than someone with a lower muscle %, so they can I more C's without a gain. Chris has a pretty alright muscle %.
