Is there anyone else who struggles with emotional eating? How do you deal with it. I'm really struggling and it's frustrating.

I've found that talking to someone you feel comfortable with helps, even if you talk to yourself out loud. It is one thing to think negative things about yourself and a situation and another completely to say then out loud and realise how utterly untrue or even hurtful they are. Also I'd say really ask yourself why you want to lose weight or rather lead a healthier lifestyle. Is it inspired by feelings of unworthiness, you wanting a positive change etc...When you have a reason that isn't because of other people especially if they have not been the best influence it is easier to say no to the overeating etc. This is just what I've gathered from the experiences of people around me and myself. I wish you all the best on your journey😊 Plus you have your FS family here to support you all the way.

Thank you so much. My motivation for weight loss is my health. I'm 1.74 m tall and at my heaviest I weighed 123.6 kg. My knees and ankles were always aching and I was getting strech marks all over my body. When the stretch marks hit my arms that's when I decided that enough was enough. So where weight loss is concerned I have good reasons behind it. I've never tried speaking out loud to myself though. I'll try that next time and if it doesn't work I'll seek professional help. Thank you once again. ♥️🤗

Glad to have helped..I write a lot and that always helps me...Have a great weekend ahead. You can do it one day at a time. Plus if you're a movie watcher, there's this great movie I think you'd really like. Please check it out if you can "Britanny runs a marathon" . I absolutely loved it.
