So I lost 10kg's, which should be awesome, except that no one noticed - exactly how fat am I?
85 kg Lost so far: 10 kg.    Still to go: 15 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Who are the people who haven’t noticed? 💛 Is it people you see everyday? They are not likely to notice (the same for you) because you see yourself each day! I have showed some of the people I see daily before and after pictures - and all of a sudden you can hear people go “amazing!” 💛 I remember I saw my sister and her family end of January, and at that time I was on my journey for about 4 months and lost about 28kgs. She didn’t even mention it once, the same happened with our HR lady at the company! I introspected a bit and realized that both of them picked up some weight at that point in time, and they were probably feeling too self-conscious about the weight they picked up, and didn’t want to even bring up that conversation. 🧡 Nevertheless - do this for your very own self, your health, what you think or feel or see! YOU are the most important person in this story!

I lost like 20kgs last year. I looked completely different, still there were a number of people that never said anything and I thought they didn't notice. Turns out they did notice, they just didn't say anything. But you keep on working. In the end, we keep healthy for ourselves and not for others. And then thrpugh the proces I also learnt that when someone looks nice, or if someone else is working on themself, to make sure to let them know you notice it! 😁

What matters is that you notice, you feel great, what other people think should not matter. You are doing great, keep on going!

Lol I feel the same except I lost 18kg!!! And nobody can tell except my husband and mother. I still feel awful and still have like 25-30kg to loose

Some people notice it but are kinda jealous and that is why they don't say anything. You be noticed by plenty soon. I am also trying to loose.. A long way for me to go. You did well.

you have to remind yourself who you are doing this for. if the main thing is so that other people can notice your weightless then you will never find peace, doesn't matter what weight you are.

Don't be despondent it took quite a while for people to notice I'd lost weight too. But trust me once people start to notice you will start getting many more compliments, and that's some real motivation to keep going!

Thanks for all the encouragement guys - I needed it! You know I was never a group kind of person, but watching and reading all your stories really encourages and motivates me. I am doing this for me and to set a good example for my daughter - I need to teach her to be comfortable in her skin, no matter her size.

Sabzia - I am 100% in the boat you are in. My biggest motivation is to get healthy for myself, and so that I can set a good example of a healthy lifestyle, body and mind, for my son and daughter. I started the year on the same weight as you, and got down to 76kg and then the lockdown blues hit big time, but I can't use it as an excuse anymore, so I am officially back and more ready than ever! Even if no one says anything, remember who you are doing this for, and take care of your heart as much as you do your body ☘️

i am in exactly the same situation. But when i was 85kg no one would believe me. i think some of us carry our fat in a way that is not obvious, so when we lose, it is not obvious

Lol, JS i feel like my fat is carried in an obvious way 😂😂 Some people might feel it's inappropriate to say something, like I would only say to my nearest and dearest but some might even feel you can't to them, I also probably wouldn't comment to a co-worker or normal friend

sometimes its due to alot of water in our body when we start to lose weight its actually the water thats coming off and then the fat starts to burn out and remember its not a must it will start to burn out from the obvios places it also starts from the tighs and arms ans then the tummy and so on so dont be disheartened you really did well so far i wish i could be you now and say i that lost amount but i will get there soon.am proud of your weight loss i love it when people achieve their goals.remember you doing this for you not for anyone else🤗

Hmmm I have also lost 10 kg and my mom was the only one, unless the others are jealous and don’t want to say anything 🤪🤪🤣🤣...seriously, what is really important that you remember that you are doing it for yourself...when you reach that sexy weight goal they will see it because the whole of you will be different 🤗
