For 5 weeks have been doing nothing, eating wrong, honestly expected a bigger increase. I have a problem with either doing everything or nothing.. My overall long term balance is poor.. How do I fix this, I want it to be a lifestyle but am really struggling to stay on the horse.

it's a lot of little steps over time that make it the lifestyle you want. it won't all happen at once. start with menu planning and shopping only according to the menu for the week. if you want to workout, put your gym clothes out the night before. a lifestyle pattern doesn't just change over night, habits are hard to break. i use a habit tracker to hold myself accountable to the small daily changes that I want to make and that has really helped me. (lots to Google - habit trackers/weight trackers/bullet journal) I focus on three to five things a month. this month it's a half hour gym sesh 5 times a week for half an hour, and more water ... easier to do when you break it down into something small just for that day rather than thinking you have to climb the massive mountain and change your whole life in one month.
