So... i watched a really interesting video on youtube by Dr Fung yesterday , he explains how trying to lose weight on a low calorie diet is not sustainable and how research proves that it lowers your metabolism , he further explains how fasting and a low carb high fat diet can help reverse diabetes and the health benefits thereof...

So yesterday i started fasting , i skipped breakfast and had lunch at 13:30 and supper at 18:15 so that puts me in a fasting ratio of 19:5 and this morning i am 900g down from yesterday. I cant quite seem to give up my coffee and i have loads of it with low fat milk and water all day , but just maybe fasting is the answer , i don't feel ready to start a ketogenic diet just yet but i'm feeling very excited about researching it and seeing the difference these life changes will bring to my health :)
107 kg Lost so far: 2.5 kg.    Still to go: 32 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Dr Fung changed my life forever!!! You will not be disappointed. I also don't follow strict keto, but loosely during the week & only intermittent fasting on weekends!!

Intermittent fasting works wonders👌🏾 Dr Fung is amazing! Also check out Dr Berg, although he’s focused a lot on Keto. The two of them changed my life! You’ll get benefits even if you don’t follow strict Keto

If you make your fast longer you will automaticly stop craving carbs and it will be much easier to go keto. I also taake koffie during fast All black, bitter and strong. Just drink more water as not to dehydrate.
