Losing 2.5 kg a Week

Today is my 25th wedding anniversary. If my husband made the first 10 years difficult, then I've countered back with the following 14. At the start of 2019, I told myself I would get healthy and be the wife he deserves so we can be the married couple at home that everyone else sees on Facebook. I'm not sure if it's my age or the fact that my baby is 17 and in his last year of high school, but it's finally working. For all the times over the last 25 years that I wanted to quit and start over, now I am SO glad I didn't. My husband isn't a saint, but he's proven to be the best man I know - right up there next to my dad. Tonight will be fancy sushi with little regard to carb counting, but I've proven to myself that I'll lose weight with keto and maintain with calorie counting. I've just got a little ways to go to tone up my upper body and lose that last little bit, but all my clothes are fitting wonderfully now, so I'm not in that much of a hurry. And my 25th anniversary gift? Not gold or silver or platinum. A new refrigerator! I am all about appliance porn!
