So. I've been stuck in the 85's since November, fluctuating by a few hundred grams every other day, which has been frustrating me. I need a breakthrough!!! I wanted to get to 80 by my birthday in January. That being said, I've been thinking how often we and our minds can be our biggest enemy. We chase a number on the scale and don't take a moment to realize just how far we've come. (Before anyone starts on how we should rather use measurements than weight I KNOW 🤣🤣). I've lost a lot of cm's though I haven't measured in a few months. Point is I know alot of people including myself want to see movement on the scale and it can be frustrating when it's not happening. However, I think it's important to stop and take stock of not only where you're going but where you've come from. So today I'm gonna take my own advice and celebrate the fact that I've lost 30kgs since 2015🎉 Damn the grams I'm focusing on the whole number.
HW: 115.5 kg
CW: 85.7 kg
85.7 kg Lost so far: 14.3 kg.    Still to go: 5.7 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I take photos. Sometimes my weight stays the same for up to 6 weeks then i take photos and see changes in how toned i have become

Thanks for that tip Iceynino. I haven't taken photos in ages. I keep putting it off for some reason, along with measurements which I tend to do on the same day. Smh.

Thats fantastic and a CHUNK of weight, well done! This is a tricky time of the year with many temptations. Just maintaining right now is a huge achievement. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Focus on a positive journey. Slow weight loss is good loss. hang in there.

Thanks LCFF. It definitely is a tricky time of year and yes the temptations are many. I've actually been worried about how I'll fare over the festive season. I think I will just try to focus on eating well for most of the time and sticking to my calories. I'll try to not put too much pressure on myself and you do the same. Deal? ☺

Deal :) We will do what we can manage and be mindful of portion sizes...drink water between wine etc. Still have fun but not go "bos" haha.
