I feel you, it feels like you are just going backwards. Boy it's hard! Hang on in there though, it will pay off soon.

are you possibly not gaining some muscle mass? best way are centimeters. or how your clothes feel now.

If you are exercising and eating lots of lean protein, It is probably muscle that you are picking up. And the more muscle you have the faster you will burn fat over a longer period. Stay positive, its all part of the journey. And you are doing great. One day at a time.

Hang in there , you will come right. This happened to me for about 4 weeks. I was super demotivated but I still kept going and i finally came right.

That was me awhile ago. My calorie intake is as too high. Now that I’ve dropped it my weight has dropped too.

@Caityes , there's some possibilities for that outcome. it is either that your are gaining muscle mass , or your calorie intake is higher than it was before . when someone is exercising they appetite increases so if you cut out carbs you need to check your daily calorie intake. better to consult a dietitian in order to determine your calorie intake.

My personal trainer just explained this to me- he says women pick up water weight when they start exercising after a long break, it just is what it is. But if you persevere, he says you drop that water weight within a month and a dress size or 2 - then only weight loss follows.
It has to do with hormone levels from what I can deduce.
