☑ First month of I.F. done and dusted
☑ Lost 10.5 kg

I really wish someone had told me about I.F. years ago... There would have been way less failed-attempts at "dieting" 😅 This lifestyle change is working for me 💪 Here's hoping that month 2 will be equally as fruitful! 😊

99.5 kg Lost so far: 10.5 kg.    Still to go: 29.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

@mmatsatsi3 It's okay if you're in a caloric deficit. Eating less calories helps you lose the fat - just make sure that the calories that you do consume are nutrient dense.

I started off doing the 16:8 method and then switched to 18:6. According to some research I've done, sugar and carbs are the preferred source of energy for your body - so I've cut out all sugary things and the only carbs I eat are from veggies. So, by basically eliminating most of the energy sources, my body has to resort to burning the stored fat for energy....... At least that's how I think it works😂

I Lost 18kg last year doing this. Amazing stuff and easy to follow. Went from 83kg to 65kg.

@Zandravanrooyen - https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/intermittent-fasting-guide I do not eat before midday, and then I start off with a snack - fruit & yogurt, and have a full meal at around 16h00 and just snack again later, should I still feel hungry. The less often I eat, the less often I want to eat. You train your body to not request food all the time.
