@Allisa1 Google is your best friend girl :) there are thousands of plans and eating regiments to choose from just do some research and see what you can live with.....try one out and see if you can stick to it

@marupu Just try it out....stop eating as early as possible the previous night i usually aim to have dinner at 7-8pm and then i have breakfast around 11 the next day....its that easy....DRINK PLENTY OF WATER THOUGH! if you are struggling build up to 16 hours...try 12 and see how far you can push it :)

@justgettingby I usually fast for anything from 16 hours to 20 hours....usually just depending on the size of the cheat meal from the previous day :P 16 is the norm though no need to go beyond that

@leksie & @Iceynino with this lifestyle youre not always going to give it 100% everyday the beauty of fasting is that it gives you an extra oomph when you need it...i recommend never fasting without water unless for religious reasons :) Hope all that helped thanks for the feedback

Yeah, and also remember that your sleeping hours is included in that 16 - 20 hours of fasting. I basically fast from dinner to dinner. Except weekends, then I add lunch.

P.S: I drink black coffee, no sugar, until midday & then switch over to water until dinner.

wow thats a lot of Time spent `Fasting @leksie my hats off to you! i just hope youre eating enough calories when you finally have dinner, also ive noticed with some people prolonged fasting tends to slow down your metabolism "too much of a good thing is a bad thing" so i would switch it up and maybe have a normal day somewhere between my fasting days just to switch it up and confuse my body

Thank God for Black COFFEE!!!!

Yeah, I believe I eat enough, & yeah, I also confuse my body every now & then. About once a week I have a high carb dinner as well.

i wanted to start straight on the 16 hour fast. that one is hectic for a beginner. i now fast 14 hours and it works. download an app called bodyfast. will give you times. i eat from 9. 30 in morning to 7. 30 at night. not too hectic. in morning i have a cup of black coffee with no sugar to get me through training and capable to last till 9. 30. good luck

If you are looking at a 24 hour fast, try plan it around a cardio session or move your weight training to the end of the day. I used Monday as a fully fasted day. To make the most of intermittent fasting I would measure my total macros for the day and ensure my first meal gave me the most energy. I fast until 2 and try have three meals, finishing off at 6. To get rid of any hunger during the day I had BCAAs after workouts and made a mix of Juniper and Dandelion water. All takes time to get use to and if your doing the Keto + Fasting you will need to supplement energy so use Mct oil available from wellness warehouse. You can also try Apple cider vinegar in the mornings, it tastes like shit so add it to something.
