Yes! Use the timer. I still do and have cooked for years!! I’m proud of you for being the hostess and cooking. I’d love to see pictures! I bet you’re way better at this than you give yourself credit for. Diablo has shown pics of your food. Always looks edible! 😂😜😂 Merry Christmas DP! I’ll always remember the reason for EVERY season! ❤️😘

As a person who doesn't celebrate Christmas it's interesting for me to watch everyone be lite weight stress out on a day which is supposed to be fun😂😂it's like watching a soap opera,&as a investor hope y'all have a Christmas fund and not go into debt every year using credit 💳 ANYWAYS ENJOY FAMILY AND FRIENDS don't party to hard stay safe

When you are entertaining a crowd, keep it simple. No fancy dishes that you constantly have to watch or stir. Remember, people just generally appreciate what you are doing for them. Make it a potluck. Don’t worry, your dinner will be wonderful because it is given from your heart. 

Merry Christmas ♥️ I remember several years ago looking around the room & realizing Hubby & I were the "Senior" members of our family 😏 We do potluck for our family get togethers.. The host chooses the main dish & we all contribute complementary appetizers, sides & desserts. After all it's the companionship that matters the most.

It turned out to be a perfect day. About an hour in, I realized I never put on a wig. LOL. I did my make up and just had the band I use to keep it in place. I guess everyone thought that was my intention? Potluck next time. I just had too many things for the oven- but it was good. Couldn't have done it without hubby and kids. It was just a lot on Christmas Day after opening our own stuff. Typically we relax at home together with our presents and mess and do family stuff another day. Also- I would have loved to be able to go to church but there was no way. IslamicUmmah- It would only have been a soap opera if a deceased loved one knocked on the door who was to have died years ago but somehow had amnesia and couldn't get back to us and ended up living overseas for 5 years. LOL. Never in debt and never partying hard. ;)

DP, have to say I loved everyone’s post on your page! You’re a riot and with your hair, it is so typical something that I would do!!! That happened because you can’t look good at the same time as a perfect house, I know, for it’s me or the house. I will be thinking about you today and laughing at life! So glad it all went well. You have beautiful hair, no need for the wig. I used to love hosting family gatherings, always kept it simple, everyone kept coming back, year after year, because it's really about the people we love.  

Enjoying your family is the best part-- the food well that helps also but to worry about weight and meeting any food goals. For me its out the window just have a wonderful day! 

The wig story is 😁 😂 😀 the not going into debt or partying hard was a weird comment🫠 from him... but to each their own. Glad it all sounds like it was mostly fun with all the stress holidays sometimes bring.
