I like my pancakes well done. 1/4 cup flour of your choice, pinch salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder— mix together 1/3 cup plain greek yogurt (or you could use regular) with one egg and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Add to dry mix. Combine and LET REST for 5 minutes.

That is a little to well done for me. LOL. Hubby loves pancakes. I will eat them occasionally but they are not carb friendly usually.

MorticiaAdams. My daily carb goal is about 150gm. I try to split them up fairly evenly throughout the day. On another day I might have toast and a little jam— still carbs. Still flour. On another day I might have some fried potatoes made with previously cooked, cold potatoes which changes their carbs to resistant starches. This is a lifelong journey, balancing the enjoyment of food with the nutritional good sense of our food choices is a balancing act for sure.. My a1c is usually about 5.2 which keeps me and my doctor happy.

Enquiaga1— my mom used to burn almost everything so I developed a taste for that scorched flavor. When I make chocolate pudding or tapioca pudding or tomato soup I purposely scorch it a bit. Crazy, huh. Note that these pancakes do not have any added sugar and they don’t t need it. They are perfect.

I used your recipe this morning with whole wheat flour. I need to use up some Greek yogurt, which has been inedible since I got covid... It tastes so sour and gross. All I've wanted is oatmeal for breakfast... Most protein rich food is really hard to choke down right now. Weird. This was great! Thanks!

Definitely well done. I like burnt toast with cottage cheese so I guess we are all odd in our own ways.

I'm writing this recipe down and hope to try it soon. I'm like you, in that I spread my carbs out throughout the day. You are a champion at maintenance, and so TINY @115 lbs!! Congrats👏💯
