Hey FS. Can anyone give me tips on how to get the scale to move again. My weight has been stuck between 104-105 kg range for over 3 months now and it's not so nice anymore. I do try to eat clean especially during the week days and practice mindful eating on weekends or not going overboard on the not so healthy foods. I also go to gym 3-5 times a week.

I was also not losing weight despite regular exercise! I have managed to lose weight with this app by counting calories aiming for a deficit. I also fast 16:8 I log everything and try and drink 2 litres of water daily. Also through this app I realised my protein intake was low so I try and make sure I get enough protein.

@gillp19 Thank you for the tips. I think i should try the IF. My protein intake isn't bad cz I do have protein shakes as well as meal replacements

Definitely give fasting a try girl it really Does work. It's not easy but trust me it's worth it. Not only does it help you loose weight it has so many other health benefits. 💗

Yes, I started IF, I lost about 6kg within a month, tho when you do it, stay dedicated and away from temptation

Prob stupid question but after your weight stalled did you re do your BMI calculation. By loosing weight your body will need less energie. Many people stay on the same calories even after loosing plenty of weight and is very surprise when weight stall. If you have change your BMI and still stalled change your workout routine. Get 2 HITT sessions in a week. Blu star nutraceuticals on utube is a good place to start

Do you count calories every day, even on weekends? Do you use a food scale to measure EVERYTHING you eat? Are you sure you're eating at a deficit? It's easy to self sabotage over weekends. Even if you are at deficit calories during the week, but not on weekends, you could end up actually at maintenance calories (or above) at the end of the week.

You dont even have to eat clean all the time. Weight loss is all about calories in, calories out. But if you're 100% sure you've been at a deficit and that you've plateaued, you can reduce carbs or add intermittent fasting to help things get moving again. 14 hour fasts are a good start! I personally wouldn't do longer than 16 hours, its unnecessary and you get most of the good benefits with 16 hours.

Also, what do you do in the gym? Cardio or resistance training? Muscle weighs more than fat.

I was stuck for three weeks so decided to try intermittent fasting, my weight budged. I just skip breakfast but eat well.

Take enough rest for your body to rest and muscles are heavier than fat

You must stay on your day every day to lose weight. Sorry, but it's no point only sticking to it Monday to Friday. It's Monday to Monday to Monday, week after week after week..... Sad, sorry fact of dieting. Water,..? I struggle with the water. Check hidden sugars... Sucrose etc...

Try zigzag calories like eat only a certain amount of food from Monday to Friday e.g 1600 and from Saturday to Sunday eat 1900
