Consistency with heavy weightlifting is the BEST! I've already upped my calories by 400 per day over the last few months and not doing any low carb or other super strict diets. My weight remains the same but I'm getting leaner and stronger! Yay for lots of food! Yay for carbs! "Yay for treats! Yay for only cardio once per week! 😁😁😁

I honestly think people are making things MUCH harder for themselves by simply not doing any weightlifting.

What is your average carb intake now per day? Low calorie diet works for me, but I'm planning on doing more exercise, so I will need to up my intake then. Don't want to go through the roof with it.

Minimum 110g protein per day. Then just a mix of fats and carbs. Usually ends up being between 110-160g carbs per day and fats usually 35-65g. Something like that. I just aim for protein goal and rest if calories is whatever.

I am however increasing my daily calories by another 100 again next week. And I'll continue doing this every few weeks to find my true maintenance.

I do the same, I never quit carbs or anything, I increased my weight training a lot but because I'm the cardio queen I have to do cardio more than once a week because I love it. But my body is well defined and leaner and I eat very well. 😁
