That is such a beautiful part of the country, the coastal area from southern to northern California is just so beautiful, I could not get enough of it when I lived out there. I wish I still had the thousands of photos I did of the mountains, ocean, and landscapes.

California has its issues without a doubt, but Over the years I have thought long and hard about what other place I would actually want to move to. No place seriously comes to mind. Almost not a day that you can’t get out in the sunshine and to hiking. I decided that I would just go visit lots of other places and then come home.

Years ago I used to love going through the hills to Laguna. Where I'm talking about is now Irvine....It used to be so Serene and green....I'm obviously dating myself but your post made me think of it....

Diana123– I remember when all that was in the area was El Toro Marine Base. It all changed in the blink of an eye. I think they were still building DisneyLand when We moved to Anaheim.
