To any of the ladies who have lost their menstrual cycle, this may very well be caused by under eating. I know many of us have been caught in the cycle of constantly reducing calories to see results and it's so dangerous. I went to a doctor on multiple occasions for tests and she never picked up that I simply needed more food, even though I increased my calories from 1300 to 1500. I was so close to going for more tests at a hospital until I went up to 1800 and that worked! Now, after about 2 years, my body is able to start repairing.

I wanted to share in case anyone else on here is going through something similar. I really didn't think that I was under eating but apparently my body needed more fuel than I realised to keep everything running and healthy.

That’s very true. I started my weight loss journey beginning of September and my period was late. When it finally came in October, it was very light and barely lasted a day. I consulted with my doctor and we ran some tests, from which he concluded that I wasn’t eating enough. Advice to the ladies would be to stick to a healthy caloric deficit not to starve ourselves to a point where our reproductive system malfunctions, not to mention other health risks.

100% and I'm glad your doctor worked it out! After I did more research, I realised how many women have this problem and thought doctors would be more aware of it.
