I look at all the people who have made their weight goal and I am over the moon. But as for myself my determination is very poor. I put weight on so easy it's annoying 😒. My Grandma, and Mummy were big but my mother ran a slimming clinic, I said how can you run a slimming clinic when you are big yourself? she replied it's easy who wants to be big like me, it worked. she passed away 42 years ago but she still makes me laugh 😃. I still miss her an awful lot. But life goes on. I know I will pretend I can see her then my weight will come off. Well something has to work. !!!.

I'm completely with you. We are all here for the same reason and everyone's success brings a genuine smile to my lips because I am happy for them. For me I'm far enough down the line that, cocky as it sounds, I think I will hit my target. I'm just petrified that I wont keep it off.

Merry Mel, ur posts are always good, take heart as u will make it . As a “big” lady I have a load to lose and all I can do is take each day at a time. Back in 1975 when I started nursing I was told I was underweight….. well 3 kids later, a bad divorce and a comfort eating I find my self now trying my best for my kids and grandkids to be slimmer, healthy and happy. We will be here for all our fellow slimmers, the ups and downs…..enjoy your Sunday x

Mel u are amazing and it seems ur last couple of pounds are stubborn, don't be disheartened think how far uv come it won't of been easy or fast but u did it sending u a massive hug and keep ur chin up n the smile on Ur lips xxx

Hi Mel, Just remember you didn't gain the weight in one day and consequently you won't lose it in one day. One little stumble in the road should not be the end of your journey. As one of my favourite quotes from Henry David Thoreau goes, what you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals. Keep you head held high you're doing fine and any progress even small or staying the same is better than no progress at all. Happy weekend 😊😊💪💪
