For the first time in the two months after ive noticed id began being a tad obsessed with calorie counting i had my first thoughtless, shameless purely pleasure driven meal. The relief was so unexpected.

Very nice and WELL DONE on your progress so far! Yes, you need to throw your body out from time to time so that your metabolism does not slow down naturally. Have you read / watched Tim Ferriss's The 4 Hour Body? 1 Cheat day a week is a MUST to get your metabolism going again. I don't follow his diet because I believe in eating ALL veggies, fruit and nuts, but that part makes sense to me. I am a total sugar-addict, and so I don't touch the poison at all. :-)

Hi Kaapsekind. Thank you for you kind words they were really needed today. No i have not but the quote you shared makes me think i should pick it up soon. Im learning that the harder part of weightloss is mantaining constant awareness of my relationship with food. I have unfortunately discovered that i went from an overeating extreme to a restrictive extreme neither one stemming from a healthy mindset.
