For those looking to stick to Keto but on a very tight budget (like me) I have found that at my Food Lovers market I can buy frozen chicken skin for R11/kg.
I roast it and get a lot of oil off which I set aside for cooking, and then enjoy the crisp skin as a meal. It's 20% protein and 40% fat. Not bad for a R3 meal!
R3,50 gets me 320g from which I got about 1/3c oil to cook with and 60g protein and 50g fat for a nice meal with a side salad!
