I miss mussels. haven't been able to eat them without risk of death for almost 14 years. Nothing better than a huge dish of black mussels smothered in garlic wine sauce. But alas..... I live vicariously through you today 😂

@Runesha - the pizza base is actually store bought. It’s by Truly Good Food, you can buy online or visit selected stores that has it (list is on their website). It’s also really affordable. The toppings were just tomato purée, mussels, anchovies, olives and cheese 🧀  

@Shereen - such a same!!! I adore them. Are you allergic to all shell fish? I do adore the white wine and garlic sauce with it just as much! But rest well - I thoroughly enjoyed these too 😌😉 

@charlie - we used to have the Quattro Pizza at romans pizza and it was our favourite. So we just replicated the toppings on a vegetable base 🙂 it was delicious (even though not the exact same as a traditional pizza base - but a perfectly fine alternative for a quarter of the calories)  

@Unicorns_Exist I am allergic to mussels and salmon.. not sure about other crustaceans because I just avoid it all. I go into anaphylaxis. I'm also allergic to many red wines (they use crustacean in the filtration process) and I am also allergic to the butter spice used on cinemavand microwave popcorn... If it's in the air and I inhale, it closes up my throat and I can't breathe (I don't go anywhere without my EpiPen). Husband calls me Bubble Girl 😂🦞🍤 

Oh. I am also allergic to peppermint... Sweets, toothpaste dental floss, throat sprays you name it. Fresh mint is fine.. but peppermint essence/flavoured kills me & my throat closes and I can't breathe properly. 

What is in the base please
