Not really, thought I would kick off my healthy eating with a bowl of oats bit that went south fast.

If you don’t like oats, you should chose a healthy alternative. The only way you are going to stick to a healthy lifestyle, is eating foods you enjoy. Fruit salad and plain yoghurt, veggie omelet, even night before left overs. You can checkout a few healthy breakfast options on YouTube to get even better ideas.

I have mine every morning with almond butter and honey... it’s delicious. I make them with water on a pot and I like them very wet not chunky..

I love oats but don’t eat it because I’m on a low carb diet. When I cook it for the family I put one part oats to two parts water and I add salt, salt is very important so it doesn’t taste like cardboard. I boil it on a medium heat. Cooking it longer than what is recommended. Making the oats nice and soft and gooey. You can also cook it in milk if you want to make it extra creamy. Once finished you can add milk, cinnamon. Tastes like pudding. You can also add fruit and nuts.

40gr plain oats (not instant) + 200ml milk in a bowl, pop in microwave for about 2min30sec, stay with microwave to stop it when it’s about to boil over the bowl! Add sweetener and cinnamon, maybe some fruit (raspberry gives it a nice tang) and enjoy! Takes less then 3 min to make. Don’t use water or instant!
