my heart rate is easily in the cardio range in the press before it maxes. I believe you are doing cardio likewise even without realizing it 🤣

My weight lifting stays in the cardio range.

NO. Let’s say 2hrs@80% max hr! Come on man! The most important muscle in your body!.... well depends on how you look at it.... 😜😇

exactly! my bodyweight work keeps the heart rate up, plus I abhor just sitting during the "rest" cycle between heavier work and I'll do mobility/flexibility work on another body part during that time, unless the movement totally exhausts me... then my heart rate's up anyway!!! 👍💪💪😉

Yep, lifting works the heart hard. Anyone who disagrees doesn't know hot to push themselves yet. Keep at it and you'll learn.

I love cardio! Well...love is maybe too strong of a word. There's always the debate on here - do you need to do cardio if you're already lifting -and of course the answer for most is no but cardio makes me feel awesome. I love to sweat. I sweat when I lift a little but I SWEAT when I do cardio and you get that "runner's high" so I have a goal to incorporate it a bit more. It's a nice break from lifting while still getting exercise. 🏃‍♀️❤️👍🏼

Yep lol. Today hopefully I can meander over to the smith machine instead of run.

DP my oldest hates running but the other day she came home and said she felt the best she’s ever felt after running and wanted to know why. I had to explain a runners high (never felt it myself). I think she’s going to enjoy running a bit more now lol.

Lol... I dint even run...yet. That's my spring goal but heavy cardio in general makes me feel that way so I used the term. I don't want anyone to think I'm a liar so I felt compelled to add that.
