I'll pull it out and post it here but it will have to be tonight. It's in our family recipes book at home. You are right about that - we grew up calling it Syrian bread instead of pita bread. My great grandfather came here in 1895 and my grandfather was born here in 1902. My dad was the first in the family not to marry a Lebanese woman, so I am 50%.

I love pita bread and use it as the “crust” for my home made pizzas. I don’t eat pizza out at all. Too much grease. 6 inch pita is the perfect portion for me.
