Going into 2021, my goals are (in no particular order):

List three things every morning that I am thankful for.
Smile at least 50 times each day.
Pay more attention to my mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.
Take more photographs.
Remember that the world keeps turning and stop sweating the small stuff.
Make sure my loved ones know they are loved.
Keep showing up.

2020 was the year of only focusing on specific, material goals at the expense of happiness, health and stability. 2021 is the year of balance and stopping to appreciate the wonderful life I’ve been given. I still want to lose weight, and excel within my studies and and and... but this year I refuse to prioritise anything over my ability to enjoy my life. 2020 proved how fragile life is; I’m heeding the warning and changing my priorities.
