So late last year just before Christmas I got CoVID.... & so did my family. Granted I had no appetite and food tasted horrible for at least a month afterwards, but my weight stayed stable. My dad got it the worst and 3months later passed on, it's been the hardest & most difficult time of my life. I don't eat at all then I binge and it's so hard to regulate because lately I don't even realise I'm hungry, especially in the evenings. Anyway, needless to say I fell off monitoring myself and ate what I wanted. I don't regret it, but I now feel self-conscious and know I need to change something. Thankfully, I am blessed to have two friends who are on a weightloss journey as well and we're keeping each other motivated. Hopefully in a months time something will have changed.

Finally signed up for a gym. Started my first boxing class yesterday and 😲 it was literally the hardest thing I've ever done. Hard pill to swallow: I'm a lot heavier than I used to be and because of it I'm a lot slower, but at least I started. We've all got to start somewhere

I have honestly been eating atrociously but for some reason, I've lost weight. I'm so thrilled, but given that I don't know the cause I worry I'll gain again. That being said, working in health in the middle of a pandemic is unbelievably stressful so maybe there is an upside to the never ending changes COVID has brought about. Here's to the unknown, to growth and discipline. #onwardsandupwards
