I edited my goal again. The truth is I think my weight is good at 130, not according to BMI charts, but I see bones sticking out and the loose skin is pretty bad. I’m also getting told by various people that I’ve lost enough and I’m starting to look unhealthy. That’s not the look I want. I’m going to maintain the healthy eating habits I’ve learned over these past 9 months, but after the next pound, I’m going to start focusing on maintenance, rather than simply weight loss. My birthday is next Friday and I’m hoping to reach my goal and give myself one heck of a gift!

I changed my goal to 125 instead of 130, but I feel like I can do this. Perseverance and determination works! If you really want to do this, you can. It’s time to start exercising because so far, I’ve lost 62 pounds by food alone. I haven’t cheated and I honestly don’t miss fast food or sweets. It took a long time, but it’s paying off. You can do it too!

I’m 2.4 pounds away from my goal, but I’m really thinking of adding 5 more pounds to it. In January, I couldn’t fit into my size 14’s and the other day, I bought a size 2 (ok, the brand runs big, but still)! I like knowing that I’m taking care of myself and I’m starting to feel good about myself. I finally realize that I’m worth it!
