Wishing you a day, filled with LOVE!
In the scope of a healthy lifestyle, we can harness the "happiness hormones" and use their advantages, not allowing them to turn into weaknesses.
The most common example is dopamine addiction. It is the short term "reward" pleasure, that is induced by consuming sugar🧁 . It is not very productive and rather destructive for health in the long run.
Dopamine is also induced when we finish the tasks, pamper ourselves... toot our own horn, so to speak 📯, eat gourmet food...
I am going to fix something from "Bon Appetit" recipes today :-)) ... and listen to my favorite HAUSER: 'Alone, Together' from Dubrovnik..

Finally, my weight moved down! I am still far from the desired willowy frame of my goal 130 lbs mark, but I am on my way there 🌿.
Went shopping for a week today - I decided to plan meals in advance (usually I don't). It will help me to manage the food so I will not have so much expired stuff in the fridge.
When shopping I was purposely parking in the far end of the lot so I can walk a bit more to the store and back. Everyday usual activity counts too for the calorie burn 🔥!
The shopping took me all morning, so today is another circumstantial 18/6 fasting day.
I made a light mozzarella/prosciutto salad with Brussel sprouts for lunch (about 400 Cals). Not really healthy when it comes to glycation but Keto friendly.

Miraculously gained a pound overnight consuming 1000Cals and spending 2000Cals😮
By physics laws, it is simply not possible! 🔬 Not like I am obsessed with weight but scientifically curious. The only sensible explanation is - water retention.
There are intracellular (ICW) and extracellular (ECW) water content. The ICW increase is good, ECW - bad, as it can be a sign of inflammation or renal disease.
Unfortunately, my old scales do not break TBW, but I hope it is an ICW increase. Probably should start shopping for something newer. I believe I own these scales for over 10 years, so there should be better technology available.
** Calm and peaceful Florida winter morning this Friday. Will wait for the fog to dissipate and go for a walk.

This morning I realized that I hit a plateau. This is the fourth day without any weight loss.
I consume about 1000 Cals per day and, I guess, this is my metabolic rate for the average low day activity. Scary. It means that my metabolism is very slow. I think it is age-related. Also, I have slight hypothyroidism that contributes to it.
I may turn into an alligator when I reach 70 - will be eating once a week and that would be just fine :-)
So I have to change the strategy because if I eat under 1000 Cals all the time, I will not be able to consume enough nutrients. Or - I need to lower the food intake and add supplements, or - add some physical activity to shift the balance (moaning, oh no-o-o...LOL)...
** yesterday I got the sweet syrup I ordered online. I like it a lot. It is almost identical to the maple syrup consistency and flavor, unlike other Keto syrups I have. Not watery at all.
I made a small dessert with Zero yogurt and starfruit. Only 80 Cals. It is not 100% Keto balanced, as it is too low in fat, so it is better to be eaten with the main meal, not separately. Maybe if you add some fat (like MTC oil or smoothy fish oil) it will be a perfect snack between the meals.
