Few days out of ketosis - had to switch to carbs fueling due to the flare of the nasty keto-rash! Those who have the same problem will understand.
Started to itch like the dickens on both sides of my neck!
Luckily it is gone as of today, I finished my antibiotics, keeping taking probiotics, and back to keto starting today. Morning ketones were 0.2 which is no ketosis🐵.
I made a batch of dried blood oranges - an excellent snack to have with a cup of tea to curb the cravings to munch on something when watching TV.

This morning there was that magic golden glow outside, some kind of optical illusion due to the filtered sunrise. I even opened the door and looked outside to check if there is any UFO in the sky that emits that light...💡😃
Took a picture, but it did not catch it. Anyway, it was beautiful even if it was gone quickly.
My weight is playing stubborn with me again, but I am on some medication now, so I guess it contributes to water retention. Not a big deal. I know from my previous weight loss sessions that after the initial weight loss it will take me at least 2--3 months to shed those extra 10 pounds.
I cooked a batch of homemade coconut curry and simmered shrimp and bok choy in it, which turned out to be delicious. The curry paste is easy to make and I can actually make it as mild as I want. My husband can't eat food that is too spicy, so it worked perfectly.
The only thing is that whatever I cook, it's always few day's "leftovers" supply for me with my ~1000Cals.
I "invented" a new snack - some broccoli sprouts wrapped in the thin slice of prosciutto. 😊 Any condiments will work with that: tomatoes, olives, few drops of olive oil, ranch sauce, cheese crumbs, etc. Done in seconds and tasty.
The weather is gloomy but one can feel almost lukewarm moisture in the air. Perfect for skin hydration🌺! I went for a walk and did some serious stretching.

My cooking practice👩🍳 - expectation VS reality...lol... short ribs cooked med-rare, as shown on the recipe image, turned out chewy. I marinated them overnight, but it did not make them melt in the mouth. Next time I better use filet or steak🥩. Shortribs are definitely not my favorite. It still tastes good with the side, mushrooms, and sweet cherry pepper vinaigrette.
The portion of the ribs I got in Costco was too large anyway, so it will be my meal for tonight and tomorrow. When it comes to meat, I prefer a smaller size better cut.
