long crap day at work but I didn't let it get to me like I always do. I was so tempted to eat a tortilla or piece of bread but I pushed past it. Not worth it. Bread tears my stomach apart these days and I always regret it when I have it. Gonna go and exch some xmas pj's I got for my boys, I mean grown men lol. Then off to search for a brisket for xmas eve. I know its kinda early, but I want to get it out of the way bc my oldest son and his wife will be here this weekend and next week will be busy with all the baking I need to do. Cheers everyone ! bread is carbs. you said you had, had a long day, and what do carbs do for you? they are your body's first source for energy. good call pushing past it, but remember, if you start feeling super tired from a long day, those extra carbs will help.

Yep, chicharrons are a great go to, also almonds or pecans. You did great getting past those cravings.

guac and bakenettes is on my "list" tomorrow . I got some beautiful and pricey ($1.50 each) avocados I wanna use tomorrow. Great idea. Tonite I opted to hold out and made a mock hot n sour soup. added 6 shrimp to that and had that instead.. super filling..glad I skipped the bread..
