Last weigh-in for the year ✔️... I did not focus too much on weigh-ins and dieting this year in all honesty, but I am happy with the 9.2kg loss since May (30.2kg loss so far) with PCOS 🐢. Going back to basics for the PCOS has helped (Intermittent Fasting, High Protein, Low Fat, Moderate Carb, reducing dairy and gluten when possible, and I am conscious of sugar consumption for my Insulin Resistance). Started strength/weight training in November, and it's helped tremendously with the energy vs. fatigue from PCOS 🏋‍♀️. Non-scale victories included going back to a Size 8/32 after almost 10 years 🏅👗Reflecting on 2023, albeit at the end of the year, I am still glad I returned to the gym in November after 4 years of absolutely no exercise... My goal for 2024 is to continue with the strength/weight training and healthier eating, which helps with my PCOS symptoms 👣🤸‍♀️ Onwards...
54.8 kg Lost so far: 30.2 kg.    Still to go: 0.8 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 1.4 kg a Week

What sort of meals do you eat if you are lower carb and low fat? I am asking because I have been low carb-high fat for a while but have been considering a switch up.

I mainly focus on the high protein, eating only lean meats (chicken breast/fish) and whey protein (optimum nutrition). My moderate carbs come from vegetables, low carb wraps, basmati rice, and high protein wheat/gluten free cereals. I love snacking with fat free smooth cottage cheese + everything bagel seasoning... I generally cook a pot of food with minimal olive oil/coconut oil (whatever I have available) and I try not to add cream/cheese etc, or opt for the low/medium fat options. I haven't deep fried food in years so I think that also helps a bit, focusing mainly on air frying/stove top cooking/oven baking etc. My meals are generally chicken/fish focused, eg chicken wraps, chicken stir fry, tuna salad, roast chicken and veg, soups, steamed kingklip, etc... I also eat mainly Indian/Mexican style flavours, the different spicing options help since I'm limited on protein options. Admittedly, I didn't focus too much this year on macro tracking, but when I did, my best weight loss was on a 45P/30C/25F split, especially for maintenance of the weight loss 😁

Goodness, you have so much to be proud of. You've inspired me to start exercising. Right now I am so heavy that I'm worried about my joints. I'll start with gentle walks.
