Happy Motivational Monday! It's holiday season!

It's 5 weeks until Christmas & just 6 weeks until 2024 wowwwwwwww Lotsa festive foods during this time period. How do you handle the holiday snacks & treats at every turn?

I haven't had any weight loss this year. I do have faith in myself that I can still make a difference in these final weeks; give myself a better start for 2024 :) I will stock up on healthy choices, workout and keep focused. Just the basics!

just back at it again recently but things r going well so far.. I'm trying not to think too hard about all the treats that r gonna be around 🍪🍬🥧🍷🍫🍻 but so far I'm just counting any sweets into my daily intake n doing a very small workout in the morning (like, really, really short workouts.. just enough to make me sweat a little n breathe heavy 😏 which doesn't take much at all at this point, lol) n so far so good. it's the sticking to it that's been the most challenging, but ive come to the conclusion that eating perfectly just isn't gonna be a thing.. like ever. 🤷‍♀️

I am a baker. Baking is my love language! This time of year is hard because everywhere you look is something sweet to eat. Every sunday my daughter's family(husband, and in-laws) get together and they have a smorgasbord day of eating. Pizza, wings, cheese, crackers, deli meats, croissants, a few veggies n fruits, n goodies. I try to stick to a couple wings, fruit, n veg, and I drink a ton of water. I think the trick is to limit the goodies. I have 1 n walk away. Pretending they don't exist is impossible, I can smell them...lol I wish u the best of luck. If u fall, remember there is always tomorrow.

I am going to focus on not going to events super hungry where I know I’ll be apt to over eat high cal foods, keep tracking for the most part while allowing some indulgence, and keeping my wine intake to a reasonable amount (I can tend to make poor choices when I’m a bit tipsy lol). Overall looking to maintain my weight while allowing some indulgences🎄☺️

Snacking is my issue. Best wishes on sticking to the basics. I will try to do the same.

Only 29 shopping days left…tree is up, baked and decorated sugar cookies with gkids, and I’m excited!! 😊 Will taste everything in moderation with slowwwwwww-er tantalizing enjoyment this year, no regrets!!!😋
