Continuing to deal with sister medical issues and moving all her stuff and closing up the apartment. I’m just walking away from ALL the big stuff including the w/D, fridge, bed (brand new) and bedroom furniture. A charitable organization will pick it all up. Associated with Habitat for Humanity. Anyway, brought home another load of frozen Healthy Choice dinners. Tonight’s entree was pineapple chicken steamer. Not bad, I just used about a tablespoon of the sauce and threw the rest away. Of the frozen foods I have tried so far this was the most “ok”. Would I buy it for myself? Can’t really imagine why I would do that, but maybe, in a pinch. 290 calories if I had eaten the sauce, 45 carbs— figure half because I didn’t eat the sauce, 16 protein and only 470 sodium. So not bad.
Addendum:: I went to put the nutritional data into my log and someone had already entered this entree in the data base except that the numbers were all way off. I have found this happening a lot. Some items have been in the database and have never been revised even though that item in todays world has been reformulated. Read the labels.
