chicken and rice ... I think im going to turn into chicken and rice. almost done with week 11 of the bulk...6 more to go actually looking forward to the deficit lol

Your dashboard dining is bringing back many memories😄 I used to keep a folding breakfast tray in the truck -- keeps food from falling on the floor or in the lap. Rice burnout: Could you swap out the rice for mixed greens? Or just add the chicken to a bed of stir fried brussels or broccoli?

D_eatsCake2 even though I've been putting weight on purposely I didn't want to go back to old my poor eating habits to do it. I do occasionally eat stuff that isn't part of my new normal but not often. As I get heavier my calorie burn has gone up and now it's just plain daunting sometimes to eat enough to stay ahead of my exercise without adding some high calorie stuff in that I wouldn't normally eat. 🙃

JustBananas lol ahh yes gotta love the dashboard dining haha usually have that stuff with dinner with more chicken 🐔 😄 yesterday was butternut squash one of my favorites . Had stir fry twice this week with shrimp. Lunch on work days is usually more of an attempt at convenience I usually eat at least 3 apples and a bunch of baby carrots through out the day as well. Easy to eat on the run lol. On my days off Lunch always has about 600 grams of sweet potatoes cut into fries done in the air fryer I don't think I will ever get tired of them yummmmm.

I know the feeling! I was looking at my log yesterday and realized I ate leftover steak for all 3 meals. Breakfast was with scrambled eggs, lunch was a wrap, and had it in a stir fry..It's all gone now..

Diana 1234 hahah we usually prep regular chicken but we had run out so I had to buy this pulled chicken instead but the worst is if I'm running really late in the am and just grab a loaf of bread and some of the pre portioned out chicken ziplocks and end up eating chicken breast on whole wheat with red hot for breakfast hahaha gotta get my protein in but Damm chicken is getting old 😅

Jeez your work lunch is so much healthier than mine. 😂 I get chickened out so fast I try to keep tuna around. Lol

APhoebe you should have seen what it looked like when I was trying to lose weight instead of gain I would have a gallon zipploc size bag filled completely with a gigantic salad and a separate ziplock with the chicken 😄

I don't eat pasta, rice or bread anymore -- I replaced them with yams, sweet potatoes and squash (all varieties). If the market ever ran out of either, I would probably cry in the aisles. 😥

I grew up eating rice and gravy every day, but with a variety of proteins, not just chicken and different kinds of gravy. Can't do that anymore, but I still have it occasionally, never tire of it.

It does get hard to change things up when you have to eat that much! I meal prepped goulash for the week but shoot what I eat in a few days you would eat in one day!! I did change it up and make egg bites with cottage cheese and ham this week. Hubby liked those! Plus I had a whole pound of chicekn for fajitas and he ate it all in one night. Uggh

Redporchlady a whole pound in One night wow I'm good for half a pound of cooked chicken but a while pound is a lot.
