Just because I've been on weight loss journeys before doesn't make it any easier now. Doing my best to stay positive and take a longer vision of weight loss rather than the day-to-day

A few years ago, I had to take my grandfathers 'decorative wall gear' off the wall due to snowfall! Snowshoes are really hard to walk on until you take them off and then oops ... almost disappear into the sno 😆

Oh, there's a different photo than when I commented! Someone was wearing snowshoes and it reminded me of a few years ago when we had a lot of snowfall and the only way I could deliver coffee to neighbors was using 'ancient' snowshoes that had literally been used as decoration on my wall 🤣 Excellent workout and fun.

Long view is about learning potion control - this is what I am leanrning. We will eventually gain it back if we restrict too long...eat what I like but eat small amounts. It's about calories. You can do it!

@meltmygut: I wish I could melt MY gut!!! I am finding it very hard to stay in a caloric deficit! I hope you can do better! A long view is definitely best! Keep on keeping on! 💪 💯 🌎 🫶 ☘️

I signed up with a group that is very determined so I hope this keeps me accountable. otherwise I struggle to stay with a plan

i just did my own restart and find that daily logging in the beginning helps with portion control and a guide to what you can eat after awhile i will do logs avery few days just to keep track of loss and or gains

HCB totally! No foods are off limits but I’ve got specific calorie and macro goals daily. I’m never going to perfect and my calorie count is more important than my macro percentages.

And sadly, it’s often hard to meet our important macro goals for health and keep our calorie goals in line. I feel your pain.
