Today one was crossing the road three times as big where we are camping at.
Rattlesnakes are not out to get you, but they won’t be fooled with. You accidentally get too close they will protect themselves, they are just going about their business, and like Kenna said, they are very busy this time of year.
Just need to keep your eyes open.
I was raised with a brother that loved snakes. We have always had snakes, mostly King Snakes.
Rather have a dog.😆
Yet, as Katsolo said, when hiking it’s the dogs that will get bitten. Now that’s scary!
Kenna, I hope if you’re hiking alone you take pepper spray, not for the animals, but for the people that act like animals. Be careful.🌸
