Morning! My RDI on the app was also 1800 but I find it difficult to eat that much. I drop it to around 1500-1650 during the week and up to about 1700 or just over on the weekends and that seems to work. I follow keto so try stick to my macros and then IMF 18:6 Monday to Fri (most days)

You don’t have to fast to lose weight. But a little bit of time restrictions is a big help. Just try not to eat too close to bed time. That should be the goal. And limit your meals to 3 a day. Breaky, lunch and dinner. You will still be fasting in between meals which is good. 3-4 hours between meals of no eating, just water. And when you have your meals, have your coffee, tea, fruit juice, etc. As long as you stick to your calories for the day. I would lower the calories a little. So when weekend comes, if you go over. It won’t affect the average calories per day for the week. So during the week 1500 cals and weekend you can do 2000cals Saturday and Sunday. Try different things and see what works for you. That you can stick to for the long term. No point doing OMAD then going back to 3 meals and gaining everything back... I’ve done that ☹️ good luck 🍀

My weight is the same as yours and I was also recommend on the app to have 1850 Cals a day. However to lose weight I need to be more like 1500 which I put down to being very overweight and having a large fat mass. Fat needs much less energy to maintain than muscle. On 1500 a day I must keep my carbs low, under 40 net carbs each day. If I eat just low calorie but not low carb, then even on 1200-1300, I will gain weight. Even on 1500 I’m losing weight very slowly, it’s now three months since Christmas and I’m 3,5kgs down, all of which I gained over ten days of eating 1700 cals a day over the festive season and not watching my carbs. For the record I have hashimotos disease so my body is 100% not easy to work with 😅 some people like protein on low carb but I find over 100g is great for me it keeps me full and doesn’t take me out ketosis Basically what I’m trying to say is don’t follow other people’s leads and even your own way might need to change. I originally lost 13 kgs quite quickly just keeping carbs under 1850 in 2019 but that’s not working for me anymore. Hoping once my weight is a bit lower I’ll be able to focus on muscle building.

Your calorie intake is too high and most probably combined with the incorrect macros . I keep mine to 1200 a day and I gym everyday .

Also be sure to weigh your food. I got a scale and my estimations and cups were way over for some foods and way under for others!!

1200 calories until you reach your goal weight then you can have 1800 calories to maintain it.
