Kenna Morton's Journal, 14 Feb 21

Tonight’s dinner was the great American short story as far as logging foods. I had made a combo of cream of potato and mushroom soup a couple of days ago . My goodness it turned out so good but you know— a little of this and a little of that so I just picked something close from the database, but I’m sure mine was no where near the sodium content that shows in the log. I love soup. I could live on it I think.

I miss potato soup. 🥣 I miss French fries. I miss baked potatoes and potato casserole and mashed potatoes and … you get the idea! Potato allergies stink.

Yesterday I had soup from crockpot cooking pork with added coconut oil and spices. Really tasty soup.

Kenna- I get hives within 3 hours of eating anything with potatoes or potato starch, then, after 24-72 hours, I have a migraine. It’s a big pain trying to eat, because potato starch is EVERYWHERE! Like in shredded cheddar cheese... so eating pizza out is a problem, or a salad. ☹️

Oh good grief. How long did it take for them to figure it out. Not a very common allergy . Well, sure helps with the carb issue.
