GREAT DAY YESTERDAY! I PLAN TO CONTINUE THE SAME TODAY! I'm out of my rut. Yeah!!!! I weighed myself this morning. It was 161. But my weight usually goes down in the late morning; so I'll weight to see what it says. I might record it. I'm not sure. I can't decide how important it is for me to have a pretty weight chart. But I know that I've recovered from my slump that started on Sunday night, when I went out to eat with friends, had wine, and began a four-day eating fest. Well, I've moved past it, learned by my mistake, and am feeling pretty good!

Today I'll do my treadmill, clean the house, shop with my friend, get kids, and relax. Three day weekend here for the kids. If the weather stays this warm, we'll go swimming this weekend. But we will definitely go hiking at some point. It's so clear and beautiful outside.


I just changed my goal weight. I think I'm being too ambitious right off the bat, and it's making me feel that I have so very far to go. Once I hit my first goal, I'll try for the next.

Update: I weighed myself again at 9:15 a.m. And I'm up a pound from my lowest, but I've actually lost a little bit for the week. So overall, not so bad! I just finished going on the treadmill. I went for 90 minutes, 5.51 miles. I started at 3.6 at level 6 incline, and then I went up to 3.7, 7. Then I went to level 10 incline for about a half a mile at 3.6 mph. Then I switched between 3.7,7 and 3.8,8. Then I put on Jillian michael's and did a little bit of arm with weights, not much.

That's the spirit! Keep it up! Swimming??? Where could it be warm enough to go swimming?? Here in NC it's bone chilling cold!! BRRR!

Wow, I'm so proud of you for the workout you had! The incline changes is a great thing. Keep it up! Glad you're out of your rut. Hope you keep this attitude of yours going. I love it! : )

You seem to be out of your rut!! You are an inspiration to me. Swimming is great exercise too! Way too cold for that here, except at the gym. I like the idea of changing your goal weight, I have mine at where I want to end up, but setting small goals is a good idea. Thanks Deb! Have an awesome weekend! Red and I will pretend we are there and although we are supposed to be good, I am bringing the tequila!!

Okay, I had a margarita - Well, sort of, but it was still good! We got a lime slush from Sonic and doctored it up with tequila... MMMMMMMMMM

Where in the world do you live that it is warm- swimming and hiking?! We could only dream! It's so stinking cold in Chicago it's crazy. Warm weather sounds awesome. I would love to go on a nice hike right now!! Well, awesome job on your treadmill! That is fantastic!!! I think that is smart too to have changed your goal weight. It's still ambitious, but doable. You might also find that with increased muscle, 140 is a good weight to be at. I am there now and although I would like to weigh less, I am still leaner and fitting in smaller sizes than I have before b/c of the muscle. Keep up the good work!
