Hello everyone! I'm Rachel, a happy mom of 3 children, ages 10, 7, and 5. I have been married for 14 years. I am a mom and work 2 days a week also.

I have been on Fatsecret since January 2008 and have lost 20 lbs since I got serious about losing weight and became comitted to regular exercising. I have remained 100% consistent in weekly exercise of at least 3 days/ week since then and am not stopping. I love to exercise now and feel healthy and strong.

Since beginning my journey not only have I lost the 20 lbs and now wear a size 6, but I have accomplished things I never thought I could have in the past. I did a mini-sprint triathlon in Feb and ran a 5K (3.1 mile)race in April in 30.58 min. I just competed in a sprint triathlon in July finishing in 1 hr 46 min which was 1/4 mile swim, 12.4 mile bike, 3.2 mile run. That was so fun to do and felt like a great accomplishment! My profile pic was taken after the tri- I am on the right. I can't wait to do another one!

It's amazing what you can accomplish when you push yourself and are consistent with training. I never thought I would be able to run as much or accomplish what I can now!
