The jeans are from foschini... they currently have a sale on all their jeans so it made sense to check it out

I joined slender wonder at the end of August... it’s monitored by doctors. Essentially I have a protein shake for breakfast, 2 meals of veg & protein then two pieces of fruit a day. I only exercise twice a week and on those days I have either an extra piece of fruit or 4 provitas. It hasn’t been easy but it’s been worth it.

Congratulations! Best feeling ever! Can I ask which protein shake you use?

Hi Nini - I would love to hear your long term experience with slender wonder. I did it in 2014, and lost weight without a doubt, but I found it unsustainable in the long term and gained the weight back when I had my two kids. I also believe that the injections (if you are using them) - the HCG which surpress your hunger - messed with my body's ability to regulate leptin by itself. It is essentially a very low calorie keto diet though - and I have found success doing keto now by myself, though at least 1500cal a day

21kg is an amazing achievement though - really well done. When I did it i went from 77kg (more or less where I happen to be now) down to 60kg in less than 3 months. I think long term I wouldn't do it again, but it's really hard work so you can be very proud

I also joined Slender Wonder 3 years ago. I lost 27kg so quickly but I struggled immensely afterwards, that diet was never meant for me. For 2 years I could never feel when I'm hungry or full. I also struggled with insane binge-eating disorder afterwards. After 5 months on the injections, my body suddenly woke up. I tell you...it was hungry, it was demonic. Haha. But that's my experience and I now know my body better. Well done on your weightloss!! You feel sooo good after all those kgs are gone. I wish you all of the best on Stabilization & Maintenance phases. xxxx

Thanks Jeanpant... I still have 10kg to go before stabilizing. I am very nervous about keeping it off as I’ve not heard about many people that have maintained the weight loss after slender wonder...

Nini, you can do it. ♥️ If I could go back, I would've locked myself up in an institution to "dry" out. I suppose my advice would be, when you get to Stabilization/Maintenance - eat foods with high fibre + low calorie density. One thing I found which reduced my binge-urges was potatoes - not fried, not beer-battered. Just potato - mashed or bland with a bit of mustard/tomato sauce. Also - on Slender Wonder I saved a list of cheat foods to my phone, that I craved, but I'll eat them at a later stage when I'm at goalweight. (pizza, burgers, etc.) Throw those thoughts away. There's a new Nini in town. Cut ties with the old Nini. Xxxx
