Hi guys I am new to this app and find ot strange that I can eat so many kcal and end the day with 30% of my kcal not used and I have eaten enough but I am watching what I eat anyone had any luck with this app or cares to comment?

I personally feel like the app is overestimating your calorie intake. The app suggested 1900 calories for me in the beginning whereas other apps say that 2000 is my maintenance calories. I eat about 1300 calories a day so will recommend to work out your own RDI

Hi Mark, the first week I started, I also tried to eat what the app told me to eat. 1600cal per day and I was struggling to eat that much food and I only lost a little weight. I then went online and did some research. I work out my BMR online which is what I should eat to stay the same weight, you should then set your target between 500-1000cal per day less to loose 1-2 pounds per week(just covert to kgs) There are loads of calculators online to help, I try for 700cal deficit per day which gives me 7700cal over 10 days and a 1kg loss per 10 days. This app is great for tracking food, but put your own calories per day in after research and if you want to try keto or low carb you need to adjust your macros on the app too after research.
