At least I didn't write "though as nails" on Diablo's post. 😆 Gong to bed for real now. 😴

I think we are opening sooner than others because my county only has 21 cases and 1 death. I also think our gym memberships went way down when their ‘community’ help was 3000 meals served over the entire time (the schools fed that many kids each day), cleaned their pool, waxed the floors etc. Most of it was regular maintenance that they should be doing anyway. That upset a lot of people I think. I heard other gyms were lowering fees during the shut down or waiving them altogether.

I need to enroll the girls and I in a CPR class. The last one I took was in high school so like 25 years ago. My cousin just retired from being a fireman and he said it changed every few years but to keep doing as I was taught back then because anything is better than nothing. I’d still like to take a refresher course though!

Yeah, I haven't taken it in forever either. But I do remember: "Annie, Annie, are you okay? You in the red shirt, call 911!" When thinking about this in the modern era, I had in mind the recent report of a nurse at a hospital who did not have an N95 because of rationing due to shortages who ran right in to do CPR when a patient suddenly decompensated and coded. I don't know if the patient survived, but she did not. There's a new level of heroism to giving CPR without PPE. A vaccine can't come soon enough. I love that you teach CPR, @DP!

Thanks DP and all those who contribute to CPR education. And I guess it's time to put a face shield in the car just in case. Had it in the house for my dad, but car is most likely scenario these days. Sad that we have to stop and think now.

I’m happy to see you’re keeping it above the law. I value your paychecks more also! I guess that tells you something 😂
