Oh Lord! One time I tried cottage cheese in a smoothie but I did not blend. Sickest crud I ever had. I just couldn’t. Turned me off from cc for a long time. I laughed at kiss off! Lolol haven’t heard that one since I was a teenager!!!!!

Chris, my dad eats just like you!!!! One thing at a time. Drives me bonkers. 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃 I should clarify, I did blend, just not enough. I’d love your recipe though. Great base for a sauce, WHEN blended!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

What is the purpose of glycogen restoration? I’m sure I’ve asked this before but I can’t remember lol. Is it to help with muscle recovery? I did 4-8 reps, 2-4 sets of the highest weight I could and still do that many tonight. Still a bit weak lol. Had a subway sandwich double the meat, a serving of chips and a cookie. Now you have me wondering if I should go find some more sugar/carbs before bed. Please tell me I should! 😝

If you can fit in the extra carbs, sure. I'd prioritize protein myself. It's not necessary since the normal person will never deplete all of their stores and will be back to normal the next day..but it sure tastes good! 🍕🥧🍰🧁🍨🍧🍦🍪🍩🎂🥣🥯🥨🥞🍞🥐🥖

Protein's high TEF would be a bad thing for Chris. When bulking, your protein percentage can be lower so you may as well fill up with cheap tasty carbs.

Well, she is in maintenance so I'd go with what makes her happy and keeps her on track. If your protein requirements are met, have those fats and carbs if that is what you want, Peeper. Contrary to popular belief, pizza has more fat calories than carb calories. Same goes for other "carbs" like donuts. Too many people refer to these foods as carb sources and it helps give carbs their false bad image.

Lol thanks guys. I stoooed at two mini snickers. I probably don’t need the glycogen. I have issues meeting my protein goals but yesterday I ate foods in town that had higher protein. (Subway with extra turkey for dinner and a smoothie and quesadilla at lunch for 57g protein in that sitting) Hubby takes his creatine mixture to the gym and has his protein shake before I think. That seems weird to me and all I want is water while there. Even propel seems too flavorful when I’m sweaty like that. I’ll try to do better on the protein! @D I’ve notices that on pizza. All that cheese makes for a high fat content. However the main reason I eat it is for the cheese! So no complaints here lol. If I had to say I was addicted to one food it would be cheese. It’s super hard for me to stop eating it!
