There is no such thing as low fat greek yogurt!!! Real Greek Yogurt is non flavored, full fat, and thicker than sour cream. None of those fake greek yogurts in my house, with starchy thinkeners, low fat, sugary jelly/jam flavors, and chemicals, yuck! Only full fat real Greek Yogurt with my own fresh fruit will cross these lips. But you have to really work to find the real stuff, read the labels, it's hidden pretty well within the fake "pudding yogurts" in the store's dairy case.

My fave. Unsweetened plain 2 or 5% fat Greek yoghurt with berries or protein powder! 💯

I don't like eating fat free stuff, but this is for the high protein and low calories. Just like I hate eating egg whites... But I have to try to keep calories low as possible because they can get out of hand real quick in my world.. 😉

I don't like egg whites either but recently found putting a little shredded parmesan on them helps a lot and it doesn't take much

BlueFront. I make my own Greek yogurt. I am totally obsessed with my cuisinart yogurt maker. Because it ferments it for however long you set it and then cools it when it’s done... also I experimented with using store bought yogurts as the starters and I found that a lot of brands lie about their product quality and the probiotics in them... some didn’t work at all... 🤔

@Mamamc7, very interesting about yogurt brands!

Mama- Check the local health food store. They should be able to point out a brand of REAL yogurt that you can use as a starter for your home made yogurt. I used to do this back in the 60's/70's. Showing my age 🎂 and my 🌻 Flower Child Hippy history there.
