you can drink coffee anytime (even while fasting) as long as it's unsweetened plain black coffee

Any drink that does not have calories.. plain coffee, tea, water. I know that sugar-free drinks are taboo, so I won't say anything about them ;). I allow myself 1 cup of black coffee with 1 sachet of sweetener because unsweetened is just too hard for me..the rest of the day I drink unsweetened teas and water.

don't trust anything... if it's soda or supposedly sugar free or zero. Only thing that's truly zero is fresh from the tap water. no flavored waters

I've read no more than 40 calories for 16:8 IF or you'll go out of ketosis. So one mug of tea or coffee with less than 1/4 cup of milk and no sugar! Those were my guidelines... hope that's useful!

I think water enhancers fall in the category of artificial sweeteners, which I mentioned before that it's a taboo topic in the IF/Keto communities. What I've read is that you should try avoid them as much as you can, but if you have to, stick to stevia/xylitol based ones...I personally use water enhancers but very very rarely - like maybe once o twice a month. The danger with them is of course the type of sweetener used, they can make water taste like juice depending on the amount you use, which means you are causing yourself to keep having the sugar craving as that is what they mimic. All in all, you must decide for yourself what works for you.
